Bio:
When she was young, Echo was abandoned by her flock.  By picking a 'cursed' gracidea flower, Echo found herself stuck in her sky form, but unable to fly.  After wandering aimlessly for weeks, Hivolt found her and brought her back to the guild.  Echo quickly became friends with Jade, who taught Echo how to walk on two legs.  They became inseparable as the guild's co-advisors.  After sneaking out unsupervised, Echo was captured and imprisoned by the Bittercold.  It was in her cell that she met Tag and Kurtis, and during the escape where she discovered her power.  The power to purify negative energy.  It was in light of this power that Jade decided that Echo would be a perfect addition to the fight against the Bittercold.  Without Echo, the battle would have been lost.  
Two years later, another force attacked the Pokemon world.  With Hivolt incapacitated by Dark Matter, Jade was forced to take the reins of the guild.  An unsure Jade might have lost control of the guild without the support of Echo.  Even without her pendant, Echo's power of purification was enough to defend the guild against the power of Dark Matter, and her moral support is the only thing that gave Jade the confidence to command the guild. 

While Echo is generally quiet and shy, when she opens up to a friend she is a much different Pokemon.  

Echo has been researching ways for her to revert her curse.  These searches have come up fruitless.
